Hi everyone... I'm new here and a retired computer technician.. hence the nick being "teckie" I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem... I own a 1992 Fiat Ducato Hilander Motorhome which is 2.0L Petrol and having done only 28,200 miles.. it was running and driving supberb until last week, Thursday morning I started it and moved it in my yard ready to wash and prep for a weekend rally and Thursday evening I decided to go and fill up and it just wouldn't start at all
so I checked all the basic things to no avail... So Friday morning I called out the AA who pinpointed the problem to a failed ignition module so I started ringing round the motor factors inc the local Fiat main agents and to my utter surprise found I couldn't get one anywhere !!! so I had to cancel my weekend rally and I ordered one from a local Motor Factor and it arrived this morning... I collected it followed the instructions and carefully fitted it and feeling rather cheerful that the problem was solved.. Upon inserting the key and turning the engine over several times it still refuses to start (there is no spark at all) So I've joined this forum in the hope that some of you clever guys can point me to what the problem might be ?, All advice and suggestions will be most welcome
. Cheers and many thanks in advance. teckie :worship:
