Punto (Mk2/2b) newbie from Coventry

Hi guys just bought a punto x reg in Coventry for £500 in red with immaculate engine and 63000 miles.

It has had some mods done on it a abarth sports bumpers and alloys.

However i had a blowout and of the alloys is bent.

Does anyone have any idea if it can be repaired or will I need new alloys? As this could get costly

best bet is to take the alloy to a few garages and get quotes as it can be repaired

get a quote from a wheel specialist

almost everything IS repairable..( at a price) - BUT you want it doing properly as a failure at speed could be a disaster..,

you can post pics after 5 posts - TBH buying a good used alloy could well be cheaper..,

Thanks guys I have just found a place in Coventry and emailed them.

I also have a broken aerial where the fitting on the roof is broken how do I remove this ? Can I do it from outside or do I have to do it from inside the lining

The ariel is under the interior light

Carefully tease the light unit down and out

IIRC its a 10mm or 13mm bolt thats built into the cable that attaches the radio to the ariel

This will allow the ariel to them pulled up and free

scrappies are availible - but they often seize into place, or are already snapped / missing

Thanks guys I will tackle that over the next week or so. I will also tackle the problem with some paint fading also.

I will put some pics up when I can. I have big plans for this car
