hope you all like im not 100% sure tbh  but sure it'll grow some more on me :D back looks too high and front too low (tyre touches arch just about so think the higher springs gotta go on  :p ) but overally euro slagggg :slayer: :worship:
Alex that is one hell of a Cinq! (y) they look awesome!! although i agree with liam £240 for a refurb  but im sure its all worth it when you see those polished lips spinning! ;)

Oh its worth it, cant believe pristine though tbh, with their rep expected better  with the sidewall bulge, phoned them up and was told tyre fitter would call me back, waited and waited and nothing, so phoned up today, no appology for no call back and was told "bring it down and we'll have a look" so i need to waste £20 of petrol on the off chance they may admit they f**ked up my tyre and pay for a new one (which i will of course have to order in and come back to get it fitted etc so another £20 of petrol cash!)

They're really going to have to pull something out of the hat here for me to recommend them again

Ok need some advice now guys :( Mot/garage guy on clubcento forum reckons that damage has to have been done by kerb by looking at it, i dropped off only wheels so this is no way the case as they didnt have car to drive them on

But ok so i know im in the right, will they believe me? i doubt it :(

My options are:
1 - Take it on the chin, pay £52 delivered for new tyre and check stuff before leaving in future? :(
2 - Spend £20 in petrol cash (and 2 hours of my time) to go there sat morning to complain on the off chance they'll replace it (bearing in mind it'll be another 2 hours and £20 of petrol cash back again once they have tyre in as i can tell you now they wont stock a 195/45/13 tyre :p) so only save £10 if they admit fault, and risk to lose £20 if they dont admit fault :(

What do i do? :( :bang:

Its been so long since i had the tyres so dont think i'd have any grounds to complain on tbh (n) maybe not noticed on smoors because they were stretched on the rear :(

Going to order new tyre from mytyres today, hopefully get all sorted asap then :p

aye, it seems the only way to go is order the tyre yourself and take it on the chin, otherwise you could pay out to get there and back and then have to get a tyre on top of it aswell.... not good

on a lighter note. HOW DAMN GORGEOUS IS YOU CAR?????????? i want it bad :D loverly looking motor, and love the wheels, but im biased :D (y)

top work fella

i've decided in a drunken haze to just buy new tyre, cost me £56 all in and can get it fitted for 1 beer token by friendly guy at garage down road :D

Thanks for the compliments :D :slayer: In the winter it looks all faded and patchy, in summer alot less so, its weird  ah well :D it'll be treated to some new goodies v v shortly :D

lush:cool:

You could phone them, but your unlikely to get anything out of them. £52!!! check breakers yards for some quality part worn tyres that may be a match to your other. Or better still buy a pair of uber quality part worns (our local has 15" toyo proxes T1's 2 of them, and he want £20 each fitted, shame they are like a 60 profile :( There is that much tread on them they literally must have been put on, and then pulled out of tyre shop and into a lamppost!!! LOL

I just changed a tyre at the roadside for someone, looked like the sidewall blew a 1" x 2" chunk out..... suspect from a kerb or something.

is that a yes or a no

had they just hit the kerb? or was it bulging for a bit :chin:

yeah you shoulndt drive witha bulge , in thoery could blow at any time. bulges normally happen when side walls get compacted more than they shold fast liek hiting curb or large pot hole. when they compress to much to fast the steel brading internally get damage and the rubber loses strength and is pushed out into a bulge by the air.

saying that drove 300 miles with a tyre bulge once cause i was to scared to tell my dad i had damaged his tyre first time i ever drove it when i was 17 lol 13 years later he still thinks a pot hole was to blame and not me hitting curb
