right ive bought a new steering wheel cos mine was pealing and looked rubbish. how do i replace it i know about leaving car for half hour with battery disconnected. do you stick screw drivers in the little dimples to get the air bag out?

Yes the little holes on the back. I think there may be a guide somewhere on this site.

Out of interest, did you buy a new steering wheel from fiat or second hand from ebay? I have the peeling problem too and am keen to know how much fiat want for a brand spanking new one.

i bought it second hand off ebay for £30 best to ring fiat up and ask you never know

got airbag out. how do i disconnet the black plug thing?

coils are finally on but need a different jack to lower fronts as it gets stuck but probs go down when settle in. anyway need new topmount on drivers side as it fell apart and hardlt any bearings in it so will gget that changed. so glad got the bolt out
