Hello - Just bought a 71 spider 1600, I look forward to restoring it to its former glory, however on the way home yesterday the engine quit - had to get the car towed to the garage, I hope that they know motor work there.
The engine seemed to be running fine when all in a sudden witout warning she started to smoke blue, and lots of it, the engine then quit. Oil was all over the drivers side of the motor, and in the carb. If anyone has any input on what could have happened please let me know.
