Open to comments good or bad about the Abarth rebadge. Not convinced myself, they are a nicer badge but what is the consensus? Like a 318 with 'M' badges??!

I need to sort the rear lights out too, they've some kind of dark sticky mesh covering them, I need to know if it'll come off cleanly.

Screams 'Boy Racer' and 'ASBO' --- nearly as bad as 'baby on board' or a fish symbol - akin to a kid in school walking around with a 'kick me' post ti on his back.....

Even worse than STRIPES, BLACK wheels and painted go faster calipers..

I prefer the Abarth front and rear badges. I'm much less convinced about the Abarth centre caps on the wheels, they seem to be overly bright, especially with the darker wheels (which look great, BTW).

On another note, you DO have a bit of Abarth in the cars data -
but its only 95 HP - not 100....
So, keep the Abarth, and loose the 100 badges ???

Hey, thanks Matt100hp, was beginning to think a third of this forum's members were F*&%wits.

The car is 'As Bought', found the one with the straightest body and paint I could find. Loving the drive. Gotta get the stuff off the back lights and I think you're right about the centre caps at least.

I think the stuff on the rear lights is probably "fly eye", it's used to tint lights without being quite so definitely illegal as putting actual tint over your lights. That doesn't stop it looking bloody awful though, you're definitely best getting rid of it ASAP . I'm sure a quick Google would inform you of how to most easily remove "fly eye" from lights.

My wheels are nearly the same colour as yours at the moment, shame mine are just absolutely filthy though haha !

How much you pay in the end. I see this car advertised on AT when I was looking. Thought it looked absolutely immaculate. Loved the overall look.IIRC there was a 100hp embroidered carpet in boot.

I knocked a good chunk off and chopped in our old rover 200 for a good price too.

Yes, the paintwork is 100%. Stunning condition. Looked at a few in various colours with no great preference but non were quite as pristine.

Very pleased with it.

Sounds good. You sound fussy like me. I only wanted grey and pano roof and sub but it looks like I've found a 2010 car with a sub and immaculate body bar a few very small stone chips. The condition is so good I can live without the roof

Do you mind pm how much you paid ?? As a idea. I've left a deposit on a car but it's being sold by a fiat main dealer. Be interesting to know as I think your car was up for £6k

Yeah and dont you forget how and why it came to you in such pristine condition. Careful ownership...look after it
