I quite like the square ones - although they do look like a nova's grill ( (n) ). Prefer them with the tri bar tho. Thats what i may do eventually in the summer

Take note myfiatunoLHDizdabest - No Chav...

The front Grill looks OK as it is to me

Kind regards,
Hi All,

Been Off Line For a bit.. I Didn’t mean the grill was chav .

see https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=25116

I’m collecting an Uno Turbo front bumper soon that’s already in your colour (93 light metallic blue) with fog lamps… I have a verbal agreement on it, but now my car’s been lowered. Pity Malta is so far away – you could be spraying only the top half back to balck…

Regards all,

PS nice touch Luke…

(y) WWOOOWWW the lowering and coloured bumpers photoshop really looks great!! Tints also make it look better. Not sure about the bad boy bonnet...its too much for me I think...its starts to get over the top! I'll fix fog lamps first I think though. If it looks good I won't spray the bumpers...after all originally the Uno T doesnt have sprayed bumpers...I will just to the highlight!!

Will keep u updated with the things I do on this thread!

A minor mod wouldnt look too bad...

EDIT: and by the looks of the picture, the grill and headlight on the passerger side need leveling

i know this thread is a week old but looking at the pic, the front bumper is wonky, the grill is wonky, the right headlight is wonky  has it been in a crash?? ur have to look carefully at the pic, in big to notice it.

Don't you hate those landcruisers and pajeros who just nudge your bumper just to get out of a parking space!!! :bang:

An all too familiar setting. You must have definitely parked whereabouts of Paceville then.

no I doubt it happened in paceville. It most probably happened in the University.

Anways...I just installed a new fish tail (tail piece for the exhaust) I will take pics of it and post them here when I can get hold of my digi camera! I still have the standard exhaust though.

Ah yes for some strange reason I forgot all about Uni; damn, coming to think about it that was a good thing. Which reminds me that exams are approaching faster than I can say "UNO" - but I digress. Anyway, I was about to say that till now *fingers crossed* I haven't met any trouble while parking and driving around our beloved Uni, that is if you ignore that stupid woman who was driving around the car park some month or two ago. She appeared from nowhere from behind a row of cars in a way that would have made Mr. Copperfield feel like a helpless apprentice. The reason why some people think that overspeeding and driving recklessly in a car park increases the coolness factor tenfold, is still beyond me.

That would be cool Drinu. Was thinking of modding up my Uno Fire a little and a fishtail was on my "to do" list (which is quite long in reality but I’m not too keen on spending lots of cash on my Fiat since I’d like to upgrade to some other car in the future, say 4 – 5 years, hopefully when I finish my course).

Having said that, where do you get your accessories and stuff from? Can your recommend someplace in particular?

I also saw the pics you posted of your Uno and I must say that I’m impressed. I really liked the sprayed side-mirrors; they look slick. (y) Was thinking of doing that to mine as well. My Uno’s colour is 'abyss blue' - somewhere in between blue and green but on the darker side - and I think that coloured mirrors would suit her fine. Actually what I would really like to do is to get rid of the concertina-style side mirrors and get some new ones. But I’m not yet sure what style I want and where can I get ones that fit

Re: New shoes and a wash(updated 20/04/06)

Hi Rod,
I agree with you as to not spending too much money on the car....I mean after all it is an UNO. I personally like modding and I do try to make my Uno look good through mods. I just try not to go too over the top. Like for example if I buy a set of speakers I wont buy the most expensive ones. I wont buy the worst ones either. Regarding shops I try to buy from everyone but for some reason I stay away from Falcar. I go to Supercar and Naxos in Gudja/Luqa.

Well as promised here are some pics of the newly installed exhaust. Please note that it is the factory exhaust pipe with a tail piece extension which was welded in!

Well hope you like it. Please give me your views wether you like it or not!

Like it? Definitely! Gotta love that fishtail! Nothing too over the top and yet looks great. Nice choice Drinu (y)

Thanks for the tip matey. Will check them out as well. :)

Another option for the bumpers would be to follow the rubbing strip from the sides and around the bumpers, and paint the rest body colour like I have done on my Mrk1 UT. Everyone doubted me, but changed their minds when they saw the finished result. Theres pictures on here somewhere, someone might be nice enough to find the link to them or post them up. I dunno where my originals are in my comp lol

On my Uno there was a silencer just in front of the beam, did you take yours out before you fitted your exhaust?
