General new rubber

Hi, i just bought a 78 x1/9 and the ruber seals and bushings are shot, where can i get new pieces? and are there any really cheap power mods to do? i have a second 1.5 engine i'm going to build up, but i would like to get more out of the 1.3 thats in the car while that one is being worked on.

For parts go to www.cascu.co.uk - they should have everything you need. They should also have a few performance odds and ends!

In terms of cheap power mods - the usual still apply. Filter and exhaust (with custom header - dont keep the original manifold) to start with - rejet the carburettor immediately as it will need doing.

I would recommend going for an ignition upgrade as well (lumenition optronic if you can still get them) as it really helps to keep the engine running cleanly.

Anything more is really going to need the engine opening up and anything serious will need new conrods and pistons.
