Styling new punto mk2 owner wants a custom boot build.

im pretty new to this forum, have been a lurker for quite some time.

i just copped a W reg Punto the other day, and like all other dude's on the forum, i'm thinking of modding it up, making it my little girly. you gotta have a whip your comfy in.

i remember seeing someone on the forum, do quite a dope boot build, was wondering if you guys know where i should go to get a good custom build, or if anyone on this forum does that sorta work.

i'm not loaded, but can spend up to £150 on a decent boot build. i know it's mostly about time, and the stuff don't really cost alot to buy.

i'm in northwest london. harrow to be precise.

im Remus and i did a custom boot build with an 800watt mutant sub with 2 6x9s sony and a blue neon light... ill sell it to you for £180 with everything in it and if fits perfectly in my mk2 av a look in the link below its somewhere in that thread

ive actually just ordered two sony xplods, with a juice amp. didnt come to much, but with my experince with sony amps, they seriously give out a nice sound. it's not all about bass with the sony's, they equalise it brilliantly and give out a dope sound..

reemus, thats dope man, congrats on making that yourself, and i would jump on it, if i had the correct equipment. but feel free to make me one for 2 subs and a amp

You should deffo have a go yourself as i can't see any satisfaction having one made for you plus it's a costly thing if you do. I am doing a boot build at the moment, with one Hiphonics 12" sub and a couple of alpine 6 x 9's and my hidden toxic amp. Will post some pics when i have more progress done, i have a thread on here about it.

cool man, how long has it taken you so far? i'm defenitly down for making one myself, can i just be a spot of bother and ask anyone thats done one of these to list me all the equpiement, material etc you would need. cos i have a blueprint in my head, may wanna put it to the test.

well my boot build i made in about 3 hours and i av a 12" sub hiden amp neon lights 2 6x9s, this fit perfectly in my boot and made it all level to where the boot bit comes up to (if that makes any sense lol) anyways i made it in a way that i could put stuff underneath the boot build and ontop

I used 12 mm thick would i think lol, well get a lot of it
The material for covering it up
Big staple Gun

he bought it for about £150.

I dont think it would eb more than about £50 for the surround though.

its just the actual ICE.

still in the process of makeing mine, using fiber glass coming along nicley at the moment, just need to add another layer of glass down and then filler it and cover it all.

ive got running 2 6x9s and a alpine sub il post some pics up tonight when im home from work lol

Thanks but no i dont think there is unless there was one made since i was away lol

but in total the boot build cost me about 40 pound and then about £200 for the sound system so not too bad! normally these boot builds cost a lot more to buy around £400 i think

although alot of people are saying the actual time of the build takes quite long, and thats what you'd be draining your cash on.

ive got ice sorted, but i had a cinquecento a few months back (a true fiat fan ) and just had two simple sub boxes, 6 x 9 's and a amp.

wondering if i should stick to that, if it ends up crushing my wallet.

on second thoughts, i am gonna try it and try and make it myself. just dont know when.
