Yeah for the price of it I'd like to have seen a similar style to the Pani Game cube, something well different to the normal crap. I wish I still had mine, thieving scum.custard said:one thing that im not keen on(not the 1 pictured!)is how shiny the plastic finish is on the PS3

KoArAnG said:You won't see an awfull lot of difference between the 360 and PS3 games. So it will be more about which games you prefer and at this time the 360 has the better games lined up for my taste. Although I will buy a PS3 too, for those games that wont be on 360.
Didn't I hear that the PS3 was going to be multi region though ?mase said:the problem is mate.... everything is different.
i have an american psone at home, with 20 odd games, and none of them work over here, the station its self runs on a different current, and the games are formatted differently, so its not as if when i go to toronto in 2 weeks i can take orders and bring some back on the cheap, cause they wont foookin work
:bang:

I am not sure on that one as I haven't really followed the console.
I have a few step down converters for the current issue. Most of my games systems were Amercan or Jap imports because back in the snes and maga drive days they actually ran better and faster than the PAL machines so I was prepared to pay an extra few quid for the games.
Yeah, they will milk you for every penny they can.mase said:thinkin about it... neither have i, and ive done a fair bit of reading about it, i just assumed it would be like the other playstations were (actually, was the 2 multi rejoinal as well? ive never checked!)
1 slightly annoying thing about the new internal hard drive system for the 3 is that there wont be slots for memory cards, so in order to get the stuff off the ps 1 and 2 memory cards youll need an adapter to plug them into the ps3 console.
and will sony be providing this adapter with the new system.... chances are somewhere between slim and none

I thought Microsoft would do the same with the 360 so I went out and bought some extra long lan cable, turned out I wasted my time and money as it was already in the box I got a free dvd remote in my first 360 too
The PS2 wasn't multi region nor the PS1, shame really. There were ways to obviously alter that, just ask custard, he'll no doubt have all the details
