I bought my wife a new Panda on Thursday and so here I am, on the Forum.
I wanted a 1.2 Dynamic.
Tried Broadspeed but found their "actual" prices are considerably more than their Internet prices. Also they don't include delivery, despite their Internet claims. I gave up when I couldn't get a delivery price out of them.
Tried Fiatsupersava which appeared cheaper than Broadspeed but their delvery charge to the North West brought the price of a 1.2 dynamic up to £5610.
I tried a local dealer (Reg Vardy). They were not prepared to discuss prices
over the phone but if I visited them they would give me a good price. (Why should I drive a 50 miles round trip for this?). After much discussion they thought they could do a pre-reg 1.2 dynamic for about £6k.
I then rang another local dealer (Caledonia) and asked for their best price (cash and no P/X). I said I was prepared to pay about £5600. They rang back saying they would do it for £5615. Including number plates and one year tax and with me as first owner.
Deal done. Happy with both deal and car.
Thanks Caledonia.
