Hi all,
We are new owners in Hampshire UK, looking for new tyres. Ours is a 1967. Our tyres are 125 SR 12 62 S
Can we have any other tyres on there, or must they be these ones? Do they need to be tubeless or do we need tyres with innertubes in? Also, any recommendations as to where to buy would be appreciated.
Thanks :)

Have a word with Mark jays at "MOTOBAMBINO"--they are in Carnforth, but Mark runs a very good delivery service and can supply a variety of tyres. 1f you want to retain an original look about the car, 1 trick is to fit the wheels off a Mk1 '126' (595cc)---they fitted 4in x 12in wheels, still with a 190 pcd wheel-bolt pattern. This will allow you to fit slightly wider tyres--135 x12 radials. The original 500 wheels should have tubes fitted as the wheels do not have the tyre-rim retaining 'lip' on the wheel rim.

Van Der Laan usually have good prices, even when you factor in the delivery to UK. The standard 12" Pirelli radials are long-lasting and at "standard" speeds provide good road-holding and you will have no need for long-winded modifications with the subsequent possibility of wheelarch rubbing and undesirable changes to the handling characteristics that partly define the individuality of the car. :)
Having said that, I may be a lone voice as many here would agree with Tom's recommends as above....and he does know his stuff.
