New owner help!!

Hello

just bought a 2006 punto grande 1.9 sport 130

got a few issues little niggles atm

1) the car has a handfree system as there is the phone call button on the steering wheel and when turning on bluetooth the phone finds "my car"
trying to connect to it through my phone it asks for a pairing code, i dont know what this is? and nothing comes up on the dash board or anywhere?
i have also tried pushing the call button but it does nothing? was thinking it might come up with a menu relating to the handsfree? i dont think its got blue and me as its got no windows key on the steering wheel or the windows usb.

how can i make a connection through the car??

also anyone know of a good price alloy wheel refurb place in the south west/ somerset/ bristol area to put my alloys back to their orginial state, as the paint has failed and the wheels have gone back to the bare metal,

try 4 0's when it asks for codes on your phone and centre console

on mine the code came up on the clock screen (between the dials) however mine has blue&me...i'd have thought yours would have it too with it being a sporting?

To link the phone in thru blue&me you have to pair it first. Press the 'phone' button on the right-hand side of the steering wheel to bring up the media menu, and the up / down arrows to scroll to 'settings'. Press the phone symbol again, and then the up / down arrows to get to 'pairing'. Press the phone symbol again, and it will give you a 4 digit code. Get your phone to search for bluetooth devices, select 'blue&me' when it comes up and enter the 4-digit code. The display (and the annoyingly quiet woman's voice) should now say 'pairing complete'. Done. Good luck getting the blue&me to accept your contact list tho...

You only need to do this once for each phone - it will automatically connect every time you start the car with the phone in it (or when the car pulls up on the drive outside - handy, so I know the wife is home and I need to look busy!)

Thanks, the problem I'm having is when I press the call button nothing happens? No menu's appear on the dash or on the cd player?
Button not working? All the other ones work as they should !!! And tried the 4 0's approach hAha

Where in this area are you? I'm from Bridgwater I know somewhere which will powdercoat wheels, or there is a place down in devon which refurbishes wheels and do a great job.

I'm in Weston super mare I go to college as part my apprenticeship in Bridgwater!, I popped into that blastnbake place they want £48 a wheel but I gotta take the tyres and weights off a place in Weston as recommend by the fiat garage want 50 plus vat per wheel and that's for spraying and they do the tyres etc, what are the places your on about?

That's the first place I looked it says Under the handsfree set up please refer to attached manual... And I don't seem to have that one relating to the hands free and where abouts do you work in Bristol? I work in Filton when I'm not at college

If your phone is compatible, switch the bluetooth on, ensure your phone visibility is set to 'show phone'.

Turn the igition on.
Press the windows button.
scroll down to settings.
Press the windows button.
scroll down to pairing.
Press the windows button.

Automated Blue&Me voice will give you a four-digit code, you'll see it on the dashboard too.

type that code in your phone, you are now connected!

hmmm...

I know the cars got bluetooth because it visible when i search through my phone,
and can get a option to change the voice volume when scrolling thru the radio commands....
im clueless... i have only got one Usb port in it and that does not play my usb stick :s

should i pop to my local dealer they might know!
