Since I have made a deal for another Spider after 30 years, I decided that, this time, since it is an option, to join a forum! The first two I had, I had to work with nothing but books! Those were a 1971 and 1974,the 74 was the driver, the 71 was the parts car/reference material! I will be working on a 77 1800 this time. Probably have lots of questions.

Made a quick trip to look over a possible donor car, hoping to locate at least a straight passenger side door shell. This poor car must have sat in the surf from all the rust in it.... might get the engine and transmission from it. Nothing, nearly nothing else is salvageable.
