Hi All,
Just purchased a 1969 Fiat 500L that runs great, but will need lots of body work in the future.
Im planning on enjoying it for a while before I tear it apart to restore it.
Anyway, I am just wondering if anyone has any options for a roof rack, I looked a lot online but haven't found any great options. Was thinking of making one but would rather spend working on the car rather than a roof rack.
Thanks in advance,
Luke

Good evening

I too have a 500L and bought a roof rack from Peter Bridger whose website is here

https://misterbridgersroofracks.wordpress.com/about/

The rack has two front feet that sit in the gutter and two rear feet with suckers. Then there are clamps on either side that hold the frame onto the underside of the gutter. Peter was able to weld a bicycle fork clamp onto the front and the end result is superb! If you keep the suckers clean then a damp cloth is enough to remove any water marks on the roof after it is removed. So far we have travelled with a bicycle, an inflatable canoe plus paddles and a suitcase. None of which would have been feasible otherwise and so it really is a fully functioning rack.

Hope this helps.

Steve
