New key

Hi

I Have an old Punto 2000 on a W it's a basic 1.2 model

Where can I get/order a spare key for it? or would I have to order a key from Fiat? as the imobiliser code is in the top part of the key.

I can tell you were not to get one from, FIAT.

They will charge you a fortune nut to be honist if the imobalise code is in the key you may not have a choice.

Your right I think I'll give it a mioss from Fiat they want almost £200 thats almost 1/2 what the car is worth.

Still, you will find a place that will be able to get the code in a new key for you.

A small bissness and even tho they wont charge as much as fiat they will still charge at least 100 pound id say.

My mate had the same problem and tho V.W quoted £250 a small place still wanted to charge £150 if my memory serves me correct.

You have to decide how long your keeping the car and how much the car is worth then make a decision on weather to bother or not.
