New headunit FINALLY arrived

2 - 3 business days soon turned into 2 weeks BUT, was worth the wait - its all installed and im very pleased.

Gonna wait for teh rain to pass and then see what the PS2 is like on it

For those interested, ive just purchased a sony CDX-NC9950. Its got a 32 thousand colour TFT screen with some pretty amazing colour vizualisations, and the ability to record my own

Pics will follow when i can be arsed to dig the camera out...
But heres a taster pic of the headunit:

Just gotta save up for the DVD/GPS unit to go with it

What Luke fails to mention is that this very expensive headunit is first of all going into an Uno but second of all it is not face-off . He is going to be leaving an extremely expensive stereo in a car that has little or no security. He plans to build a screen so that chavs can't see it but now-a-days chavs will just break into your car in the offchance that they can steal something. If they find it, jackpot

Got it covered Just need to pop over to the local maplins and get some bits n bobs, and all will be well. And my uno rarely parked anywhere where chavs come along - only when i go to lakeside Else its in quiet areas or locked up in my garage overnight. Thus im not too worried

yea I looked at a couple of places and it said it did come off. Found out it didnt once id already ordered it. But, like ive said, ive got plans
