Anyone seen this report about new fiat models to be released? That "thing" they're making to wipe out the Sei is horrific.. how on earth are we meant to drive that round and be proud of the Fiat name?!

(sob sob;) )

it might not be all bad - its technically a panda replacement so there will still be new sei's for a while, and of course someone has to try fitting Fiat's new 1.3 Multijet diesel into a sei!!

TDI engines are cool, you'll be surprised how fast they really are, VW's TDI150 (red I version) as fitted to the golf is a animal!

I have considerably more mods, THAN YOU!

unless they replace the sei after they phase it out (i'm clinging on to all hope here - coz there's no way i'll buy a gingo assed s**te)

yeah i have to admit to being a fan of the TDI engines, the 1.9 from the stilo is sweet and could easily top 140mph yet manages 40mpg without effort and 50mpg if you are light touched.

Goddamn FIAT! Don they realise that they should never have replaced the Cinq! Bring back the Cinq! And a brand new Sporting with the 20v Turbo engine from the Coupe and stick it in the back (a la Renault!). Imagine a 2 litre turbo engine powwering the rear wheels of a Cinq...I drool just thinking about it!

Hey guys the Gingo, which is now renamed to Panda, because Renault said it was to close to the name of the Twingo (stupid French !) it ain't bad at all ?

calling it the panda will give it more of a chance, but lets have a look at these pics - we want 16's, -40mm, lose the roof bars and debadge all round - maybe, it might start looking half decent!

I like it. Far, far better than anything the japs pump out at the same size, also better looking than the Ka, Lupo and Arosa junk put together. Not as good as the Centos to look at, but I think it's ok.

Current Fiat fleet:
'98 Seicento Sporting - '02 Punto Sporting - '94 Tipo 1.4 ie S

I've always loved the Cinq, had a couple of Sportings on different occasions as courtesy cars while mine was being serviced. I felt they were a bit like a pet, every household should have one! So much fun through the bends. Wouldn't mind driving one with a bigger engine though.

o me god its even worse when u see it bigger,, aaaagh!! there is no way you could put that thing on 16s and think it looks good.. looks like if i ever get bored of my cinq ill have to look outside fiat to find another small quirky car.. lupo, smart.. oo dear its not looking good. :(
