gary just thought i would check. wack your reg into the web and see if yours has had its recalls done they didnt inform owners they just put it up with chassis numbers so might be worth checking.

cant find it again gary ill keep looking, but if you got the chasais number list, take it with you and cross reference when you pick it up. then check the service book for the two recall stamps (if recalled both times) if there not there ask lol.

probably what you have but shows build dates on the right, there usually 6months before a plate is issues so early 08 would be a late 08 reg.

pretty much every car before 59 plate has had the steering recall and most before 07 plate had a brake recall and before 57 plate a engine management recall.

other known faults i know of to check are aircon working and anoyingly the glovebox closes properly. sounds stupid but they failed to close after a while so deelers slightly bent the latch makes them difficult to close but means it stays closed lol
