Hi

The Clarion head unit in my B has died - the circuit board has dried up and I gather is no longer salvageable.
I really don't want to put in an all-singing all-dancing blue flashy head unit and would much prefer to replace it with another Clarion head unit.
But having no luck finding one on ebay or other retailers anywhere.

Any idea where I can get one? or does anyone have one going?

Thanks

Simon

I had mine repaired when the control button died...but alas this doesn't help you.

Many seem to have replaced the original, so there might be a few floating about.

I think a replacement from Fiat is over £200 if you can still get one, and get the right one. When mine died as such they were loathed to order a replacement as for some reason they couldn't tell if it would be the clarion unit or the grundig as supplied on earlier cars.

I would have thought that the chassis number would give them a clue, so if no luck elsewhere it may be worth a visit to Fiat?

Good luck,

PS Some of those after market radios are way to much "all-singing all-dancing blue flashy" IMHO
