New Car Help

I have recently bought a 98 bravo 1.8hlx and theres a few things that are bugging me, if anyone has any answers please help.

1) There is a funny whistle noise that comes from the engine occasionally and on shutdown of the car (ive been told this could be the feul injectors?)

2) The Drivers heated seat is not working, is there any way i can fix this? (the red l.e.d. is working)

3) On the centre dash the heater on the right will never turn on and the heater next to it on the left will never turn off?

4) There is a rattle coming from the exhaust when the engine comes down from revving.

5) The reverse gear is sometimes crunchy and stiff when trying to engage

the whissle noise. has someone opened the EGR valve? my mums car does this, although its a vauxhall astra (shite cars) and it was when a techy opened up and cleaned the valve out.

the heated seat problem sounds like the element has burnt out

and reverse gear, my brava does this in first and second. ive been told by these guys that its the caractor of the car
