Hi Everyone, :D

Well left my Sci Sporting with my Dad while I'm away. He has told me that the Battery has died, and that it is currently not holding a charge. So he recommends a new Battery. :(

As I am away from the car, and my dad currently can't find my manual, can anyone recommed a good Battery for Car, and where to purchase from? I live in North London, and will be back this weekend.

Been searching the net, there are lot of Battery companies, but for some reason they give great long discription of types of batteries :bang: they have in stock, but they don't seem to give prices? Should I just pop to Halfords, Clarkins, Kwick Fit and just get one from them?

Can anyone help???

Thanks in Advanace

HI Minty

Got trusty dad to have a look around our local area for a Battery for my Sci, he has been coming back with quotes from £45-55, Plus the shops have have conflicts Amp, ranging from 30-40.

Any chance of posting a Battery from yourself, sure P&P would be lower than buying from around here??

You know anyone with a Costco membership?

Bosch Silver batteries are cheap there. There's a leaflet in store with the one you'll need for your car.

Don't know anyone with Costco card, however do know someone with a Makro Card, but I can't remember if they do Batteries

Well popping to parents home(Car is parked there at present) this evening, so will probbly get a battery on the weekend, from somewhere, or I will not be able to drive it home.

hi dude, p&p gonna be quite big and im sure thr royal mail got summat against sending batteries through post or summat, cus of the acid :(

go to local motor factors and just say you want a decent trade price, stand ur ground and say its for a customers motor ;) hehe it'll work!

Just charge it up and keep it running for over 10 mins, it was the 45 pand one from Halfords and shouldnt need replacing....
