Hi. My wife has an '05 Panda Lounge and the blower switch has stopped working. Based on my research, it's a major job to get at the guts of the switch - requiring removal of the dashboard. I know I should do it, but - frankly - I'd rather pay somebody else to do it. The problem is finding an expert Panda garage near us in St Neots.

We have a very good place to get it serviced and minor stuff, but I think this needs a bit more than someone with the workshop manual.

Can anybody suggest somewhere close than the nearest main dealer in Rockingham?

.. Confident it's NOT the Resistor pack, or it's local wiring..?

Not absolutely confident, however:
The initial problem was the blower not switching off.
This later became that the blower wouldn't;t switch on unless you fiddled with the switch.
The final position is that the blower only comes on if you press the rotary knob in.

My conclusion is that the rotary switch itself has probably come loose internally and the wiper is failing to make contact unless the spindle is pressed.
