Congratulations mate!
I'm only 20 and my gf is already talking about it (not until she's 23 but she wants t plan now) - should I be scared??

There is no doubt the experience is life changing. We had our twins when I was 26 and I thought I had it covered until they arrived. Nothing can prepare you for it but I have to say I personally believe they are well worth the time and effort. My only suggestion would be 'don't rush into it'. Enjoy cementing your relationship and see the world before you go into children. They will test the strongest relationship and make it (or break it!)

Just remember, a child is for life not just for Christmas! :)

Wise words. I completely agree. Get to a stage in life where you know you are ready to settle down. Although I wouldn't be without my 2, I sometimes feel I've missed out on a lot of things.

I plan on making up for it now though, especially as I've got someone to do all those things with at last :D:D:D:D:D

Congratulations, he is a good weight, should be good at rugby. I couldn't be happier with our little boy who is 15 months old, but I agree wait for a while before you have them and see the world. I was 33 and my wife 27 when we had him and that was perfect. I can barely remember being able to stay in bed past 7am now. Mind you I went to Denmark for a few days last week for work and managed to have 10 hours sleep one night which was great.

Now we are thinking that we should maybe have another, my wife has started to forget how painful it was. She had a 3rd degree tear when our boy was born, which was really painful.

Look forward to seeing your posts at 12am, 3am, 6am etc.

WOah..someone put something in the water a while back?! Baby boom or what.

Today my school nurse asked me if I was trying for a baby?! I think someone misunderstood a joke and told her about it...

Argh...She said trying not conceived!

Closest thing I'm getting to a baby is armfuls of paper umbilical chord :D

Oops sorry my mistake :tempt:

Ah well, the trying is fun! Although I believe a LOT of practise is required to get it just right...

It normally happens when there is nothing good on TV, you have to do something instead !!!.

OK, Baby is home now... I will try and drag myself onto the computer in between crying, poo & sick :( :yuck:

He slept right through last night though...good sign of things to come hopefully! (y)
