New and confused

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum malarky. I was recently given a Fiat Punto Active 8V.
I am trying to find out what the full model name is. I'd like to know if it is a MK2A or a MK2B or a Classic, or what.
The Fiat Punto Active 8V is from the V5.
I am trying to work out if this car has ABS as I am buying a Disc, pads, drums, shoes kit. They ask if the car has ABS. I fully charged the battery and turned the ignition on and didn't see an ABS light.
The car first reg year is 2004. Does anyone have a good dash diagram for this model as all the pictures in the owners manual don't match the cars.
I have attached a pic of my car which came with steel wheels but I have put on some Fiat alloys I brought.
I hope my confusion can be rectified

That is the ABS Unit.

Yes..No answer

Active dask could be no rev counter.. or temp gauge.

Better dash has these added.

Hello Charlie,
Thanks for that. It looks like there isn't a box as you suggested, so No ABS.
I have attached a few pics of the space behind the battery box.
Do you know if a person can get replacement wheel caps? I have tried getting small ones for the centre hole but to no avail so far.

Those 3 x m6 studs are where the ABS would be mounted..

Wheel trims.. look on partsworld website for info : ideas


ePER link at top of FF homepage will show original wheel trims.. and the factory part numbers.

Thanks for your help. It's a great little car. I just have to replace the gear linkage cables. The one for the forwards and backwards movement of the gear lever has ceased to function.
It's nice to be on a forum where people know what they are talking about.
