Eventually the International Fiat 500C configurator is available on
http://www.fiat500.com/videoconfc/01-EN/main.asp

I think this one is not as good as the UK site, but this one contains many new things like the new alloy what we have already seen on a normal 500 (It was a yellow 500 if I remember well  ) but not on the 500C. Also there are many sticker options and badges and key covers but you will see!

Also there is a detailed price list on fiatpress. Unfortunately the italian version is available at the moment:

Just for fun I list all the Fiat 500 configurator links

On balance I'd rather they put the thought into fitting a proper glove compartment rather than a pointless blackboard!

On a slightly different note, I noticed yesterday that the little secret flap thing has two rubber stops on it so that it doesn't mark the edge of the dash when you open it and it rests on it. How neat! I bet the designer who thought of that is so proud!

Whilst browsing, I found this pic of the original 500c... just shows how spookily the new one looks like the old one when you look at the details!

Its a very sensible way to get an open top and maintain structural integrity.
I'd like to know what the wind buffeting is like, but doubtless we'll find out. My old Citroen Dyanes had absolutely no buffeting at any speed with the roof rolled right back - I mean 80mph here :D

I've had another go and come up with a goth blue, with tan leather seats and front and rear dams, fogs, sound, tints and a few small things. No graphics/decals, thank you: and it looks stunning (y) Dark blue was an original colour, and with the tan and cream interior this little car looks stunningly smart. But the price

I've had a good play with this and come up with a shortlist of two...I don't seem to be able to find a total cost anywhere though...am I missing something?

Thanks,

I bet you just hoped you didn't get a sidewind while driving @ 80@!

It certainly rocked, but I never for one moment felt it would let go. Yes, those cars rocked! And centrifugal clutches too, utterly brilliant, and unbreakable: what happened to those? Regrets

Well, the 500c appears to have the revised and slightly softer rear end that the Ford version has, so that's the suspension sorted ;). It may be to lessen the 'shock' to the roofless body, but it may just be to make it comfier, and I expect the stanaderd cars will get it at some stage.
