thats crazy, it says it does not cover reckless driving or driving under the influence, does speeding count as reckless driving or does it depend how much you were speeding by?

How does FlashProtect work?
The main aspect of this policy is that if a person gets disqualified from driving due to being caught by Speed Cameras, the insurers will pay them up to £6000 towards alternate transport arrangements.

How do I claim for costs?
The banned driver collects receipts for taxi's, trains etc and they are reimbursed at the end of the ban.

This is capped at £500 per month – so they can't go out and blow their entire £6000 on a Ferrari for the week!

How do I qualify for this policy?
To qualify for this policy you must have under 6 points on your licence at the time of incepting the policy. The policy is only effective if the further 6 points that result in a disqualification are from Speed Cameras/Traps.

Naturally drink and drugs-related convictions are not covered, nor are those directly associated with dangerous or reckless driving convictions
