aye mate just reading about your problem gutted for you. wish i knew a answer to help.

im going to keep standard bush's on the front jsut to get my car on the road and swap them later.

yea that would be your best bet good luck with getting it off your drive in one piece lol

it gets better for me the cars got a smoking problem and i know whats doing it a valve stem seal, fun times aye :bang:

but if i dont it will break even more :p

ive got soem new ones on order, just looking for a way to get the spring off with out taking the head off, thinking of compressed air or rope then turing it by hand to support the valve tehn some flat piece of metal with a hole for the collets :chin::Offtopic:

and we need more pictures of your car :p

haha well good luck with your car. mine has never broke really so i dont know fixes to solutions haha.

well i started him up today again and it wouldnt start, sounded flat so i charged him and he started again rough as due to no exhaust. by the end of the weekend im hoping to have a exhaust weather standard or not. if im lucky the rear suspension done with powerflex's.

ill get a pic tomorrow but looks the same as the last one just with a gsr on.

nightmare about the front bushes, sounds like venom finally have it sorted, fingers crossed they appear sometime in the next 2 weeks. Have ya had any more luck sorting out the rear bushes? Gona be good to see the suspension back together an how low it really is now :yum:

tbh mate ive not tried getting them out again im going to try and batter them tomorrow. if i can get them in and springs on its just exhaust and its good to go :) cant wait haha.

im reying on the fact that it wont settle to 70/50 yet so i can get of my drive but it is a slim hope haha

lol its just surface rust, ive emmoried them down and its tiny. just 3weeks worth disks still spin fine so i aint changing them :p:p.

yeh tomorrow i want to attach exhaust (standard :-( ) and then lower him down and run in. im going to do the front powerflex;s when its ok for me and when i actually get them :p

update ive done nothing on the car today as it snowed and i couldnt be arsed haha.

exhaust needs new bolts and my bleed nipple on the drivers rear calliper is gone! sanded down by the enner arch (bent toward wheel must have took a knock so ive bent it back)

new nipple from a scrappy and then i need to work out if im waiting for the fron t bush;s or if im droppin him to the floor and using it for abit to run it in then lift him up in 2-3 weeks and finish the front. i need the car, im loosing my mind staying in all day every day haha

update!!!!!!!!!!!!

ENGINE WORKS

found the problem, turns out the plastic cover for the cam belt is hitting a sprokit somewhere and knocking. going to saw a corner off it and im laughing.

put the exhaust on and the car starts first time now so im good there too. sounds ace!!!!

suspension is on and done apart from the front bushs which are lost in the post!

my rear brake line snapped today so going to repair them in the morning with new copper ones (only old ones on car) then give him a shakedown run!.

hope i can get off thedrive!
