In a rush of blood to the head (and without thinking too much) I removed the the letters 'Punto' from the bootlid.
I've been looking at it for a couple of weeks, and have decided that I don't like it as it is.

What can I use to attach the letters back? The original rubber/foamy stuff is FUBAR, so I need to use something else.
Any suggestions?

@TJHPunto - thanks

@burtz - why not? Just because everyone thinks its cool to remove them, doesn't mean that I have to share the same tastes :)
Took them off - didn't like it, so back on they go. Simple no?

Ok let me reword for u sweety. IMO dont put them back on. And my reason why is because its looks 'cleaner' with out. Simple no?

Firstly I'm not your 'sweety'. Ok?
You should be aware that people here come from different cultural backgrounds. What might be acceptable in your community can cause offense elsewhere.

Secondly - In my post I didn't ask for opinions whether the letters looked nice or not. I asked about how to stick them back on.
So, you like the bootlid without letters because it looks cleaner. Fair enough - I have absolutely no problem with that.

I don't share your opinion \ view. Please respect my choice.

Tiger Seal !

Buy from ebay, very strong adhesive glue.

Surely tiger seal would be too messy? I found its a bitch! :p

Great for large areas, but for small stuff, its a bitch! But i don't doubt its bonding capabilities! Both my spoiler and sideskirts are held on with the stuff! :D

Personally, i'd go for some tape if you can get some.

Ciao g50245,

I like the badges on the boot of my car too, it feels "naked" without them and just too plain, like you've said, opinions are opinions...as long as you're happy with your car that's all that matters :)

I'm looking out for some strong adhesive to restick my back emblems too soon LOL, keep me posted if you find anything good ;)

You can get a clear construction adhesive, its called CT1, available from most good hardware/building supply stores.

You can put a small amount on a bit of waste cardboard, then use a small paint brush to apply it to back of the letters, then use a line of masking tape on the boot lid to ensure you get it on straight.

You just press them on, and leave them for a few hours and thats it, not gonna go anywhere!

how is someone advising their opinion that badges off looks better offensive my love? You should be aware that people here come from different cultural backgrounds and don't take things so seriously

Very true, unless you're living in the land of the parassitic robber stealers...where everything is 3 times the price of everywhere else
In these times of economic difficulty, nothing is wasted. (y)
