Need some help!!!

Hello

Completely new to this just bought a fiat, 90 elx cabriolet and its on its first outing to work today, need to fill up petrol and when I've come to it I can't get the cap off!!
Anyone got any idea how to do it? I've left the manual at home. I've tried every which way I can think of!

Hi, assuming you've not sussed it / or run out of fuel,

the outer bodywork flap is just hinged - opens easily,

the inner seal / cap is a conventional Right had screw thread,


is it REALLY stiff..??,shouldn't be..!!

if it's locked = the outer should whizz around leaving the inner part locked - you'll need to turn the key anticlockwise 1/2 a turn to unlock,then unscrew the main cap anti-clockwise too..,

I have just managed to get it open thanks to your post!! I tried doing what the manual said and couldn't get it open sob thank you for posting been driving me mad all day!!
