I had the instructions of how to convert AAC into MP3 written in a file on my laptop and then the laptop died and I had to do a reinstall without being able to get my files off. So i've lost my crib sheet.

I found the info on here somewhere but have trawled through but can't find it.

I used to download the songs from iTunes store, then put onto a CD and then import back in as mp3, but i've tried everything and can't remember how to put onto the CD in the first place! It's really annoying because I can't play any new songs now in my 500.

Can someone help - it isn't a case of just right clicking and saying convert to mp3 as they are AAC files so I have to copy them off and re-import them in from memory.

HELP!

You can convert all iTunes music if you purchase the iTunes plus upgrades and download the new update for iTunes. The advanced menu has a 'convert to mp3' option. You just need to block the songs you want to convert by holding down the control key and selecting the different songs you want to convert and go to the advanced menu. It works I've did my entire library last weekend. Hope that helps.
