i got a sei, and fed up with the standard front speakers. can anyone tell me everything i need to buy to have really loud vocals, for like rap, and a sub which will thud the beats hard..thanks !! money is not much a problem (y)

The type of music i will mostly play is vocal dance, and some rap maybe.

well in the dash iv got some 90watt rms 10cms made by theloudest.com there good at most levels of pitch you can get them on ebay for 45 delivered it took abit of modification to pack them into the dash tho :D

Your best bet is to get some door builds done and fit a set of components and amp them :)
What is your absolute ceiling budget? Saying money isn't an object doesn't really help, as you can get systems which cost thousands.

*rubs hands*

£1500 you say? Is that including a HU or is that part already sorted?

Alrdy got a Hu,its a sony one, cost about £150 dunno if its ne gd.

door builds?? who can install all this kind of stuff

You could PM Jordan (punto_jr_sx75) and ask him if he's willing to make you set of door builds for your Sei. Or if you are good with your hands, you could have a go yourself (y) A sub enclosure can easily be built by yourself (y)

You could upgrade the HU, as I believe it would be the weakest link in the system.......................

Right let's have a go then.............................

Gonna suggest you go for a set of 6.5" components, amped in some door builds, with some sound deadening in the doors. Single/Twin 12" sub powered by a mono amp with some 0 gauge cabling. Sound deadening in the boot too.............:)

I'll go and get some suggestions for you :)

Right.......................a good sub/amp combo would be this:

with either

or if you don't want to spend as much but still get excellent quality this one will do just fine - you can use the same amp for either sub :)

Personally I think the HU you have at the moment may be the weakest link. So something like this Becker would do http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3772 and sell your existing one :)

Just leaves speakers and an amp for up the front.....................leaving 200 for cabling, sound deadening and installation materials (e.g. MDF), there's about 400 quid left...................there are plenty of options, such as

Amps

Components

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=2983

If you went with everything listed and went for the more expensive RE sub, then you would overshoot the budget by a small amount. However, you would be under budget if you went for the cheaper sub. There are plenty of other options, this is only a taster. There's always the possibility of buying good quality gear second hand for bargain prices, which would mean cheaper prices and you can stick to the budget more easily :)

Dont know if its kind of thing your looking for but i have some door cards knocked together to take 165mm components (speaker and external tweeter)

Pics are on here somewhere i think  if not will upload some later if your interested?

Nah, you'd need to build your own enclosure :) It's fairly straightforward to do :) You can buy premade enclosures, but IMO they will not be up to the job. If you build your own you know how strong it is (y)
