I am the owner of a 1990 Fiat Ducato Hymer, Motor Caravan. It is currently on Uk plates and I am in the process of trying to import it onto Portuguese plates where I now live.
I am unable to find out my engine number which is needed here to complete the process. I know its location but my mechanic cannot see it fully once he has located it due to a water hose immediately in front which he is reluctant to remove for fear of problems re attaching it.
Can anybody please advise me on how else I can find out the engine number.
I have the chassis number but this is all.
Please help!
