The best way is to strip the glove box and take it out, so it out of the way, then if u go to the engine bay side directly behind where the battery goes the metal part of the engine is covered with some spongy lining, u need to take this undo a few clips that hold it in place, which would allow u to move the lining back a little to the left, u should c a grommet now which has a wires goin into it, make the whole in the grommet a little wider then put the power cable through, from the inside pull away the carpet a little from the passenger side, in order to do this undo the side strip and pull the carpet back and u should c the wire u just pushed in the grommet.
I hope this helps, i did a very long time ago and its fairly easy, and u dont need to drill any holes into the engine bay.
