hello guys

it's benn a long since i've posted...

well i need some help from you, since in this days of hard raining in portugal, i found water in the floor of my mk2 uno, except in the driver place...
in the past days i' ve been looking for holes in the chassis and other places and nothing:(:bang:

i know the machine as 200000k already, but is a mint machine

soon i going to post some pictures of it passing the 200000k mark...

thanks in advance for your atention

cheers

Check the door and boot seals as well as the roof rack mounting place plastic strips (if applicable) on the roof.

Where is it the wettest? In the back or the front? Are the seats wet too? Does the water go all the way to the edges of the carpet?

Check the pipes to the heater matrix and the heater matrix itself (under the dashboard, passenger footwell). These come into the car on the passenger side of left hand driver models and might explain why only that side is damp. Also check the coolant level as if the heater matrix/ pipes are leaking you'll also be losing coolant from the cooling system.

thanks guys for your help

i've found yesterday at night in the garge wen i was vacuuing the water from the floor

it is a small hole neer the right front wheel, i suppose wen i go to motorways and the ground is wet it sprays under the chassis and with the force of the wind the water enters the interior...

today i'm going to take care of it

thank you guys for you quick reply...

cheers...

Check drain hose behind engine, under windshield. It often gets blocked with leaves and other stuff, so when it's raining water is collecting and leaking in car through ventilation.
