General Need Help Exhaust Pipeing

Right im not sure how to take this .. or work it out lol .. so if any one can you know help me in any way be great.

i basically need to cut the whole original back box of and put that other shiney one on. but how to do it and sizes are different ect confuses me Would it make any difference cutting it off from that janspeed one compared to just sticking the new back box on a standard exhaust ?? !
And also what should it sound like ?

by look sof it the shiny back box you have is shorer than the original back box. which means you may need a small length of pipe. also can you prob going toneed them hooks that are on the old one to hang new one from car . but not sure how you can transfer them over.

that back box is designed for a centre exit really by the look of its design. different bores are down to the design re pie sizes and you will need redicers or different pie bores welded in.im afraid unless someone runs the same exhaust on the same car then no one can say what it will sound like.
this is one of the reasons im not a big fan of universal back boxes
