General navtech? can you use another brand

can any one tell me if any other nav software can be used on fiats satnav . Navtech is trully crap compared to systems available such as the software for handheld computers.such as the ipaq range

As far as I am aware, Navteq is the only compatible software you can use!

I also run NavTeq software in the Ulysse Nav+, yet it looks so different [i.e. better], mainly because the unit in that beast is made by Magnet Marelli.
