Iv done quite a few mods since last update, so here goes

I had been looking into lowering the car for a while and after a lot of thought I decided i wanted to go for some coilovers, so at the beggining of last month I purchased some FK AK beasts off Venom motorsport along with some 20mm rear spacers
I fitted them as soon as they arrived, wound them all the way down front and rear. Really simple to fit and I was pleased with the drop, it looked awesome. Anyway I took it out on road test, literally got 1/4 of a mile down the road and all of a sudden BANG! The passenger side driveshaft had popped out, grease and ball bearings everywhere

It turns out that there is a limit to how low you can go on the front.

Luckily not much damage had been done, so i sourced a new driveshaft end off Fiat and fitted it a couple of days later. With all the bumpy roads around where I live iv had to raise it up a fair amount, but im happy with it now.
Got hold of an Autogauge boost gauge from Halfords with pod as I wanted to see the difference between the old turbo and the new one once it was fitted, the maximum it boosts upto was around 15psi with the standard Turbo.
I sold the VL38 turbo as I was looking into getting an Essesse unit, but in the end decided it was going to cost more than I had planned with having to buy new injectors etc. So I found a chap who lives near me who was selling a few bits that he had got for his T-jet and not got round to fitting, this included a VL36 Turbo, a Forge Intake and some Forge subframe braces.
I fitted the Turbo a couple of weeks ago along with the Intake and I must say it makes a difference, boost holds for so much longer, and is alot louder
Vl37 + VL36 comparison:
Then last week I took my wheels to get powdercoated gloss black, painted my front grill and intercooler, added some Team Heko wind deflectors and I also came to the conclusion there were too many stickers on the rear end so I got rid off the badge and Nurburgring sticker. Much prefer it.
And thats pretty much it atm, the cars booked in at Pipewerx for a custom Cat-back exhaust next week and then its just a case of remapping.
