Yes she did, tho I had to buy my own Yorkies (to go with the roast beef) Some kind of Catholic pennance, apparently
Went to the Scafell Hotel restaurant in Rosthwaite on a random mission. Had nachos with dips, followed by game casserole in stock and red wine gravy with home-made chips on the side. Awesome food and cheap prices :slayer:
Tom really fancies that casserole ... so he's asked "how cheap is cheap and do you fancy going there next time we're up"
£9 for casserole and chips and yes.......it's a stunning drive there along the lakeshore as well

roast chicken, home made sage and onion stuffing, hme grown garlic roasted anya potatoes, home grown green beans, home grown cauliflower and gravy followed by an apple turnover:yum::yum::yum:

I had vegetable curry with wholegrain rice and a few oven chips
1 x Bacon Bun and 1 x Sausage Bun.
linda mc cartney lasagne, oven chips an peas.
