Re: My Cleaned Euro Stilo

Colour makes or breaks a car and its a hard one to get right.

Black is the way forward, 5 of our cars are black and all our company cars are too lol

Im going for a bit of matte black on mine for the new show season ;)

Yeah i wanted a black or silver stilo in the end. This current had a few bits and bobs (only alloys and cd player) that pushed me silver way. Oh and what i said earlier :D

I dot even know when the season starts, did it end? any hints for my amature self??? Look forward to seeing the change on yours too.

Re: My Cleaned Euro Stilo

I know cream and white have realy been overdone, white for sure,
but im struggling to think of a big popular show car that is all cream?
i know jamies has cream bits, but i want full cream.

matte vinyl is going to be what everyone's doing, and the bodyshop owe me some money, so not paying for some of the the colour change.. so it needs to be paint haha

Any suggestions what will be a good colour to go with red interior?

i still think cream with red metalflake through the whole car would look pretty trick! and not yet done....

Re: My Cleaned Euro Stilo

(y) on it! (y) cheers looking forward to some shows thinking about it :)
Ultimate Dubs in March is a good one, or ISTS first weekend in April, that starts the season,
and USC is one of the last ones.. thats when you know the season is finishing..

But theres smaller meets inbetween

Ive got a meet with cleaned-uk in december
and EU mania in March at ACE Cafe

Just looking at that Ultimate Dubs in March, i might have a blast at that. Cousins just bought a VW Corrado to replace his Mk2 golf might see if he fancies a trip down. He is off Edition38 aswell (cleaned-uk) hummm :D

Re: My Cleaned Euro Stilo

Why is vinyl bland and boring? Not really done that much on show cars either at the moment.

I would just leave it tbh or get your car relaquered but with the red flake in it.

I dont think its bland and boring, I think its abit bandwagon lol

Mark Ricconi's RX7 was matte black vinyl as was the murdered out 350z,
more and more people are going for it..

the reason i was thinking of a colour change is because the bonnet, boot, front bumber and both sides are being redone, so makes sense to have the colour changed with all that painting going on..

metalflake red in the standard colour is an option that is being considered though, i just keep looking at the pic of it in cream and thinking it looks brilliant and realy fresh

Re: My Cleaned Euro Stilo

Yeah but thats one colour. If you went matt black then it would be bandwagon. But i think other matte colours in vinyl isnt. Like a matte silver wrap would be subtle but different imo.

Re: My Cleaned Euro Stilo

Its pretty crap in terms of the real outcome and what i know it will look like in my head but

but... cream and flake. Best i could do on Photoplop  they just look plink and turquoise from this pic  i can see it in my head though :)

I can see it much better realistically :yum:

Matt silver is an interesting one, reminds me of something, just trying to think what though

Re: My Cleaned Euro Stilo

well you probably know more than me on that one. Guessing that personally myself, done or not i wouldnt mind eitherway i.e slammed, widewheels etc as that is as extreme as i am going to go. Fiat extras for me from now on but then i am not after setting the pace. For someone like Coyle and looking to get to next big thing then i guess he could benefit. (y) I think colour is a tricky one?

i dont think i could go black (matte black) as we already have three black cars in the driveway.'NOT SAYING COMMON' as its not! Just the family likes black cars. Neigbours would have just looked and laughed if everyone had one on our drive :p

All good though matt (y)

mines black (y)
