Stilo My Stilo Active Sport

Introduction

This is my first try at posting a photo. I hope it works.
Nice car Brian!

WRP, the Active Sport is only available with the 1.6 engine. It now comes with skirts (as you can see) and silver bits of interior trim which the dynamic doesn't have.

The dynamic has over it (as Brian says) the armrest, A/C, and also colour coded door handles.

I also suspect, the A.Sport doesn't have the sports seats the Dynamic has (same as the abarth), they look similar but the bolster aren't as long, I think it may also be missing stuff like the light up courtesy mirror.

All in all though, the Active Sport is about the only trim level which benefited from the 04 model revision.

That was taken on Saturday, I had just washed and leathered it. I gave it a polish about a month ago it wont get another until sometime in the new year probably about March, I am a firm believer in a good application of Turtle Wax followed by a swift pint.

Hi James, you are correct in what you say, also the Active Sport has the rear spoiler too.

So does the dynamic ;)

Early A.Sports lacked that too, makes you wonder how they could give it the sport tag eh?

They are a bit standard under the bonnet for a Sport tag but Having said that it has taken me by surprise on more than one occassion. It's fine as long as you keep the revs over 3k.

Isn't it so often the case these days though that sport means nothing but a bit of different trim?

Have you seen Twincamms Active Sport btw? He's done a fair bit to it, very nice ;)

I think some Abarth logos would look nice on the skirts, thats how they should ship from the factory if you ask me!!

I know it's not an Abarth, but the badges look smart ;)

Thanks Bob in disguise.
sh33n I must admit I did look at the badges at one time but I think I will wait until I can afford a proper Abarth. I have test driven one and I was most impressed. Maybe I will have another look at an Abarth next March when this one is a year old. Well, you've got to have hope haven't you.

Wot is the bhp of the Stilo 1.6?? Nice car mate - next thing get it lowered and fit 17s :yum:

Hi Alfa156.net The bhp given in the spec is 103 and yes they do look good lowered and equipped with 17"s. I hope to change to an Abarth next year but with the way my finances are going at the moment I may have to stay with the Sport and probably modding may be a another option.

I know how you feel Brian  However, no offence intended, but all of you with the 1.6 Stilo have been had!! The 1.6 147 has 120bhp in standard form  Is that what twin sparking an engine does for you??
