I have a silver Mk2 Punto and i have the original side repeaters on it.
I have the original headlight and rear light clusters too.

I want to change the side repeaters in some way but im not sure what to do with them?

I was thinking maybe just orange LED side repeater bulbs, or would something else look better?

Anyone with ideas please reply to this post!

Thanks in advance :)

clear or colour coded repeators seem to be the trend

How can i colour code them silver? you mean a silver bulb? or the actual casing? Surely if the casing is silver no light will come through?

Thanks anyway mate :D

you can get silver bulbs and something i would go for as it stops the 'fried egg' look but ebay etc has a variety of sellers selling different coloured casings of repeators, blue, black, tinted etc to name a few. I think they all allow the legal amount of light through

they dont cost much £ have a nosy on the 'bay

Can i have whatever colour i like (Aside from emergency colours obviously) without getting pulled? So if my bulb flashes white its fine? or if i have a black repeater cover and a white bulb?

In theory yes so long as it lets the legal amount of light through
Thanks fella :D!! Should be helpful. If i was to leave the existing covers on (standard clear ones) but put a set of chrome lights in, what colour you think they should be as they flash?

Anyone else with ideas also....(y)

the mods have gotten rid of it temporarily but i wasnt a fan of it anyway as it was easily abused so i dont mind not receiving any :)

Okay, so i bought a set of orange LED T10's for my side repeaters... Turns out that its the lens within the clear platic side repeater casing that is the problem and that the bulb inside is a standard white filament T10...

No biggie as the LED's are now in my mates Grande... But ALWAYS check the car BEFORE you buy... Lol my bad... Lesson learned.:whogives:
