Adam is trying to sell his panda on eBay and now Gumtree.

1) you seem to do well on eBay

2) you understand eBay

3) you are known as a trusted eBay seller regarding pandas

4) you maybe in a better area in the uk which helps sales

Liken it to the difference between Del boy and Alan Sugar......which one is the better salesman??

Typed a big long reply but lost signal on the train. I suspet I'm more Rodney, to continue the analogy. Don't watch the Apprentice, but don't think I want to be be an Alan.
I hope Didge's contact comes through in terms of the car.
My observations would echo everyone else's:
Maybe location is an issue (there does seem a bigger/better market in the south).
Wonder if it's simply too cheap and that's putting people off. If the sale doesn't go through, maybe relist and mention the positive (we all know the good points about Pandas and why we love them) as well as the negative/funny/characterful, and up the price.
(y)Haven't checked Adam's ebay feedback but am sure it's good too.

I could accommodate it for a couple of weeks if you can get it here.

Getting it there is doable, whether we can get rid of the car is another issue.

100% after 9 years. Only 109 buys/sells though.

Fill the tank up, buy me a one way train ticket back and I'll drive the selecta to Verns (I'll sort the insurance out) - better than scrapping it surely?

I don't mind driving to Verns, but its £40 for petrol. £50-120 train back, Vern has to make something.

Uship it's about £150 to get the car there. Which works out easier. (I have a listing, gonna see what they offer)

Ideal world I need to cancel insurance by the 12th.

If you can get it to Vernon's then try and sell it in a more southerly location (as suggested by Gavin) than that might work, though Vernon would have to deal with any potential buyer.

If it doesn't sell than maybe It could be stripped and we could all buy things off it we might need. You and Vernon could get the money from the sales and then Vernon could get the scrap money from the shell?

At least then if it was stripped we'd all get any bits we might need and you and Vernon could get some money out of it instead of some scrappy in the isle of sheppy

Guy just texted and offered 100.

Get more for that scrap, tell them to take a long walk off of a short pier (n)

Worth £300 min with MOT really tbh.

EDIT: Sounds like it could be that person who buys to break them :(

Just stick it back on eBay at 99p no reserve and let it find its own feet maybe?
