Took my car in to get it looked at because i just had a feeling it wasn't quite right.. and i was right!

I need a new tracking rod, front brake pads/discs and 2 new front tyres..

Can any one give me a general idea on how much this is likely to cost? Just a rough estimate will do.. once this is done i can get the knocking fixed which is what i went in for in the first place!

Thanks,

Michael

If you are handy with tools then do the brake pads and discs yourself, easy enough.
Tyres obviously try a cheapie garage place like F1autocentres or Mr-tyres, or one's that come to you, often price match.

Tracking rod end is best left to a garage when they do the tyre because you will need your tracking done. I'd call it for two tyres, about £60-70, and the rod end don't cost that much it's the labour to do it, so add about another £60 to that for labour and parts, and your tracking at about £12 usually.
