Two accidents in the space of two months!

The rear damage was done by a 40ft artic Slovenia driver on Swindons Magic Roundabout yesterday.

The front damage was done by rear of a bus clipping us when I was sat at a T junction in December.

I think I'll be saying goodbye to her. Shame, she's still got less than 40k on the clock too.

My main concern now is getting a fair price if it's written off. I've looked on line and W reg with average of 80k on are fetching about 600 ish, but mine's only got just over 38k on the clock.

Sparky , i paid 650 for my 2.0 20v weekend 4months ago with f/s/h and 105 on the clock , a 98 , r plate ,so 600 for a W dont smack right to me mate .Have you tried www.glass.co.uk/guide or www.parkers.co.uk they might be of some help.

Just checked on Parkers and they reckon £795. So by the time the insurance company has taken off money for every little imperfection I'll probably only end up with around £600.

Thats ok considering my last crash , insurance=£465(full comp/protected) , car valued @ £407 , after they took their cut and that months payment i got £160 - your 600 looks great from here mate!!!

You can always sue them to be put back in the position you were in before thier clients neglicence. Weekends are such nice cars it's a shame they are getting rarer.

I agree with you there Renegade .The other way round they'd prob do it to you-specially now days ,our sue-ing cultures getting like america!!!

Just an update.

The lorry driver has now submitted his statement in which he is absolving himself of all blame! So looks like I will lose my no claims and my premiums will now go through the roof. Bloody great!
