Tbf there was probably some post editing done to the picture, but if it's good enough for most professional photographers to do this then why should it be a big problem? I think people to say that the car was planted into the scene though would be just plain wrong as most of them had implied!

Still a really good shot!

Well done for getting selected Dougie.
When I next go on FB I'll like the photo for you.
You notcie that the H1 (Hummer) photo appears twice?!?!? hmmmmm

Noticed that myself, though it's the more absurd (if you can get more absurd than a road going Hummer) Lambo LM200 with the carbon fibre side-walled tyres and detuned V12. Guessing they're just trying to double their chances of selection.

Just seen the 5 winners, there shocking imo!! Even I could do better, there were many better pictures than theses. A dirty fkn metro of all things too

Indeed, can't believe that Metro got through. They must've thought, "Hmm...this car is pants however, the irony of having a bridge in the background which is of the same dramatic style as one within our game shall raise a wry smile amongst our losing entrants...chuckle...chuckle..." idiots

At least you can take solace in the fact your pic is certainly superior to a few of those final five and that some, if not all of the judges are clearly having one too many a shandy at their judging debates.

Rover Metro= 5H1T3
Millau Viaduct in France= Nice
Put the two together not good.

And Rob I stand corrected, what I thought was a Hummer H1 was infact as you quite rightly stated a Lamborghini LM002

No probs, they were built for similar roles after all and as a result in some respects look quite similar. The stats for the Lambo are crazy though and I'll always remember the Clarkson review including some of them...

That must be the most ridiculous 4x4 ever built.
5.7l 48Valve V12 from a Diablo
445BHP
145MPH top speed
0-60- 6.6seconds
Weight= 3tons
Carbon Fibre tyre sidewalls
Tyres cost £1,500 EACH, now that's just ridiculous

And that was back in '96 the tyres cost that, can only imagine how much Pirelli must charge for them these days if you can get them. Not to mention the increase over the £200 full tank of petrol in said review. By the way, this review was actually off JC's first video - Unleashed on Cars, which was the first of his I got too, oddly enough in a WH Smith bargain bin circa 2000  Great vid though, highly recommend it and it's follow ups
