Had my Panda for a couple of days now and can't get over how much fun it is. Drives like a go cart! Got a few pics but not the best quality as they were taken with my phone. One very minor thing I've noticed is that the wheel nuts are a bit rusty and I've looked into some options. Some people are recommending these:

I'm at work now and can't check the bolt size. Does anyone know if they are 17mm?

Another thing that could do with a bit of work is the gear stick. The previous owner told me it's worn as he wore a ring which rubbed the grey finish off. I could replace it but I'm not sure how to remove it?

Also considering painting the calipers. Red seems to be the norm but I'm toying with the idea of painting them gold as I think it would go with the black/grey colours. Not sure what paint is best to use but it seems a lot of people use Hammerite Smooth. Is this the stuff?

Suggestions welcome,

cheers!

Yes 17mm is correct for wheel nut covers. Believe the gearknob has to literally be butchered/cut off as it's adhered on. I think there is a guide in the panda guides section. Used hammerite many times on brake calipers - does the job ok but needs a yearly re paint to keep them looking fresh. Prefer the finish of powdercoated calipers, maintenance free and much more durable. Though alot higher price point and the inconvenience of removing the calipers etc.
