Plans are:

To get it too mine in the next few weeks

Remove head and strip/rebuild it (Clean nad polish up valves, etc)

New thermostat + Oil/filter, etc, etc


T-Cut it

Get standard suspension or use my G-MAX -60mm kit (Hate it tho!)

M.O.T and TAX it

Insure it!
Ive gota "time" plan once ive finished College so i can work and do this during the weekdays but itll be the most mint ORIGINAL UT on the road

Yeah its on cut springs.............i asked my mate if they were done "properly" (same lengh coil off each end of each spring sorta thing) and he laughed and said "what do you think?". lol

But i got two choices:

1) As my mate recommended to me, completey strip the engine down and rebuild it fresh (Its had new piston rings so i think the bottem end is sweet) or run the risk of completley fooking up the engine

2) Run it as it is now and wait till i see a big cloud od blue smoke in the back window! (Turbo oil seals are most likley to have perished over 6-7 years of not boosting propely!)

The main thing is that i have a very very very good base to start of with a gain what my mate wants to see.................and that is a 12sec 1/4 mile UT!

But im very strict when it comes to my cars and how i talk about them, heres what i would like to be in 250flbs-ATW+ trim:

1) To have some I.C.E
2) To have seats (Currently has mitsi Starion Turbo seats in it!)
3) NO fibreglass panels, carbon bonnet, crap like that
4) So drivable that my MUM can go shopping in it (Once only under supervision of me :D )
5) Road legal suspension
6) The same engine, gearbox, diff, driveshafts, hubs, etc, But all uprated with the same ratios

Basiclly, a REAL fast road car, non of this "Its a road car but it done idle properly and its a bastard to drive on the road so i have to trailer it there........blah, blah, blah"

I know most of you are gona all think the same thing..........******** MATE............ye of little faith i ask you?

But the UT lads will know why its all worth it! :slayer:

just gona take time and money now........

My mate was gona take me out in it but 10 mins before we got there one of the water pipes split!!
damm!

I remember going in it when it was near enough standard and bloody hell it was fast!!

he said if he could run it at 20 PSI it would be something diffrent and he owns it so i think its just a little quick!! lol

T-minus 2-3 days till the UT is at mine!!!

sort out ignition

get hold of a Garrett T25

New head bolts and build it back up!

I went in my mates 1650cc series 2 escort RS turbo today and i loved feeling that old skool turbo feel once again!
