i thought it was about time to upgrade from my pinky-redy cinq so i waited a month or 2 and found me a nice red GT.
it cost me 2900 quid i thought was a tad expencive but i was willing.
Heres some pics of her. i has a few things done to it, dump valve, power boost valve, powerflow exhuast from cat-back, lowered not sure how much think 60mm the cambers of the wheels have been changed aswell so its all spot on, and oz titans 16s.
im finding it alot of fun.
what other stuff is worth doing to the GT to make it even more fun??
comments welcome...

nice car!!! Bit expensive, but if everything is good and all you need to do is drive it your good(y)

Things I'd do:-
Install a oil pressure gauge
Install an aftermarket calibrated boost gauge
get a bigger or better flowing intercooler
manual boost controller:cool:
OR seb it (seb is probably needed as I think the GT ecu is pants, and would throw a fit with higher boost and fail to increase its fueling accordingly, volvo's though on the other hand can be taken from5psi boost to 17psi boost and the stock pumps injectors and ecu all cope really well:cool: )
supersprint exhaust.

then
aftermarket ignition and injection (e.g DTA)
bigger injectors
bigger fuel pump
serious head work, and rebuild stage '0' or uprated bottom end and rods
bigger turbo
turn up the boost, and make 250bhp:slayer:

i have ordered the sed2 chip for my car and i am looking at getting a fount mounted intercooler. has an oil presure gauge as standard on the dash, and i have a boost controller under the bonnet.
im looking to have some fun with it but im not gonna spend mega amounts on getting the engin rebuilt i dont drive it that hard.

Very nice mate, was that on ebay? I think thats one of the ones I was looking at the other day, at the bottom of the add it said it had just been sold.

I love the GT, looking into getting one myself, found out I can actually afford to insure one in a few months time :D

Went for a spin in my ex misses GT on Saturday night :) (cant believe she's got a better car than me :()

Anyway nice motor mate, keep up the gd work (y)

yeah this is the one off ebay. i snapped it up after i took it for a drive.
its not all good news the dump valve is leaking abit so its not boosting very smoothly. Im gonna pop to my local perfomance shop and pick me up a new one tommro.
i got a quote on getting everything but the roof re-sprayed cuse theres few little marks all the way round for 500squid and this place is the nuts.
