Question for the techies and any engineering geniuses out there. I'm short standing up - the Mrs is short sitting down (all right cut out the laughing). Made a big mistake when we bought the Abarth - I wanted the electric seats (which have all ways adjustments both sides) but she didn't want to spend the money. So - only the driver's seat has manual height adjustment. This means that the passenger seat belt cuts right across her throat - the belt height adjustment is insufficient to make any difference.
Apart from buying and installing electric seats which I would imagine (especially in leather) would be prohibitively expensive and probably impossible anyway - any other ideas please? Clunk Clik and other thingys of that ilk do not fit on the belts.
I had thought of obtaining (if that's possible) the sub frame for the driver's seat and fitting that to the passenger seat in lieu of the existing sub frame. Alternatively would it be possible to fit some sort of spacers to raise the existing sub frame height?
